“The fascination with eyes and vision started when I was a child. My father’s passion was photography and telescopes. Because of that, I became interested at an early age in everything related to eyes and vision. Later, I chose to study optometry. My wife studied the same subject, so you could say I met her thanks to optics. It still took me two years before I dared to ask her out.”

Since October 2025, Angel Viosques has been Senior Vice President Commercial EMEA at Euclid Vision Group. After years at Leica Microsystems and Essilor, this step feels like a natural continuation of his passion. “I have always worked in companies where quality and innovation are central.
